Throughout his career, Ernie has established himself as a respected leader known for delivering results safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

For Ernie, the most rewarding part of the job is simple: completing the work and exceeding client expectations. His philosophy is that every project, regardless of size or complexity, deserves the same level of dedication and professionalism. Under his leadership, industrial sites that begin as challenging, heavily impacted locations are transformed into clean, organized, environmentally compliant facilities that clients can be proud of.

Ernie oversees highly trained crews specializing in industrial cleaning, environmental remediation, tank cleaning, vacuum truck services, site restoration, and equipment decontamination. His teams follow proven procedures and detailed project plans to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and within the client’s required timeline.

Raised in a small town in Ohio, Ernie developed the work ethic and discipline that continue to define his leadership today. Growing up in a household where responsibility, integrity, and accountability were daily expectations, he learned early that success comes from consistent effort and attention to detail. 

Ernie has instilled the same strong work ethic, values, and commitment to excellence in his three daughters. Together with his wife, he has dedicated himself to raising a family focused on hard work, education, and service. His oldest daughter serves in the National Guard and is the proud mother of their first grandchild. His middle daughter is a college graduate working in early childhood education and is pursuing further academic achievements with plans to earn her doctorate. His youngest daughter, currently in high school, maintains outstanding academic performance while competing in softball and training year-round. Family is at the center of Ernie’s life, and he takes tremendous pride in their accomplishments and the values they continue to demonstrate every day. 

Before entering the environmental and industrial cleaning industry, Ernie gained extensive leadership experience managing crews, coordinating projects, and meeting demanding deadlines throughout the retail construction and remodeling sector. These experiences strengthened his ability to lead teams, develop personnel, and execute projects safely and efficiently. 

In 2014, Ernie entered the industrial services field as an equipment operator, where he quickly developed expertise in vacuum truck operations, industrial cleaning, environmental response, and specialized field services. Through hands-on experience, he gained a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by the oil and gas industry. 

Since joining Octane in 2018, Ernie has played a significant role in expanding industrial cleaning operations and strengthening client relationships. His reputation for reliability, quality workmanship, and customer service has contributed to long-term partnerships and continued business growth. 

Safety remains a cornerstone of Ernie’s leadership philosophy. He is committed to ensuring that every Octane team member receives ongoing training, mentorship, and support. New employees are paired with experienced personnel, and continuous education is emphasized to maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. 

Beyond the workplace, Ernie is deeply involved in his community. He has dedicated countless hours to mentoring young people through agricultural, educational, and athletic programs. As a coach, mentor, and community leader, he continues to invest in developing the next generation of skilled workers and responsible citizens.
