Terry Seikel co-founded Octane Environmental, LLC in 2016 and has served as its Chairman since inception. Under his leadership, Octane has grown into a recognized leader in the environmental services industry, known for its innovative approach to sustainability, waste management, and field operations across industrial sectors.

In addition to his role at Octane, Terry is the President and CEO of Defiance Holdings, LLC, a private investment firm he established. Through Defiance Holdings, Terry manages non-controlling equity interests in approximately 15 privately held companies, spanning a wide array of industries and sectors.

Before founding Octane, Terry was the Chairman and CEO of A.R.E. Accessories, LLC, a premier manufacturer of painted fiberglass truck caps, tonneau covers, and custom fiberglass components. During his tenure from 2006 to 2015, A.R.E. grew to employ around 700 people and generated annual sales of $110 million. His strategic direction and operational oversight culminated in the successful sale of the company in 2015.

Terry’s career exemplifies a deep commitment to entrepreneurial leadership, operational excellence, and long-term business growth. His track record of founding, scaling, and investing in businesses continues to influence Octane Environmental’s strategic path and culture of innovation.

In this role, Joe oversees all facets of the company’s accounting, finance, FP&A, treasury, tax, and related financial functions and provides strategic analysis and guidance to all of the company’s stakeholders. Joe Seikel has served as Octane Environmental’s Chief Financial Officer since joining the Company in 2017. In this role, Joe oversees all facets of the company’s accounting, finance, FP&A, treasury, tax, and related financial functions and provides strategic analysis and guidance to all of the company’s stakeholders. He is also heavily involved in the company’s operational, strategic, and administrative functions.


Before joining Octane, Joe was a Manager in PwC’s Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services group, where he advised clients on various financial and regulatory reporting aspects spanning the deal spectrum. He graduated summa cum laude from Albion College with a bachelor’s in Economics and Management – with an emphasis in accounting.  He is also an inactive CPA.


In his spare time, Joe enjoys reading, running, yoga, and playing with his children.

Eric Garcia is the Chief Operating Officer of Octane Environmental and has been with the Company since its inception.  He brings a disciplined, results-driven approach shaped by both military and industry experience. Before entering the energy sector, Eric served six years in the U.S. Army — two years with a reserve unit and four years on active duty — where he developed his leadership, operational planning, and problem-solving skills.

In 2006, he began his oil and gas career with Universal Well Services, specializing in conventional vertical fracking. Over the years, Eric has built a reputation for operational excellence, hands-on leadership, and a deep understanding of both fieldwork and corporate strategy.

At Octane, Eric leads daily operations and long-term initiatives, focused on efficiency, safety, and sustainable growth. His leadership style is rooted in fairness, accountability, and respect — always working to build a strong leadership structure while listening to the concerns of his team and offering clear direction in challenging moments.

Administration (summa cum laude) from the College of Westchester. She is an active

member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, the Institute of Management Accountants, the

Tom Hill has been part of the oil and gas industry since 2011, bringing over a decade of hands-on field experience to the Octane Environmental team. Since joining Octane in 2018, Tom has become a key contributor to our operations, focusing primarily on polyurea coating applications and aboveground storage tank (AST) installations.

Tom’s early industry experience was rooted in production operations, where he specialized in the plumbing of GPU systems, production tanks, wellheads, and meter runs. He also spent time as a laborer and screw pipe fitter on compressor station builds, giving him a well-rounded foundation across various infrastructure and mechanical systems.

Certified in manual lathe and drill press operations, Tom also holds active forklift and aerial lift certifications. His technical knowledge and field precision are instrumental in executing complex environmental and containment projects safely and efficiently.

Outside of work, Tom is a self-proclaimed speed junkie who enjoys anything with two or more wheels — from motorcycles to high-performance vehicles.

He went on to work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a product manager before entering the oil and gas industry in 2010. Bob began as a Safety Consultant for Antero Resources and later served as Operations Manager for a rig moving company. His hands-on experience spans snubbing, workover, drilling operations, and yard management, making him a well-rounded leader in field operations.

In addition to his industry roles, Bob is a certified scuba instructor, rescue diver, swiftwater rescue technician, and an advanced CPR/First Aid instructor. His combination of leadership, safety expertise, and field knowledge makes him a key asset to Octane Environmental’s operational success.
