Project Manager

Biogas / Renewable Energy – Project Manager

Location: Travel Required (Multi-Site)

Industry: Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) / Biogas

Experience Level: 8–12+ Years Preferred

The Opportunity

We are looking for a high-level field professional who understands digesters/ AST’s from the ground up.
This role blends mechanical expertise, field execution, and a commissioning mindset.

Core Responsibilities

- Lead and support digester / AST installation

- Execute bolt-up installs, roof systems, and mechanical tie-ins

- Ability to read and interpret construction/engineering blueprints and technical drawings

- Perform digester cleanouts, inspections, and maintenance

- Read and execute blueprints, P&IDs, and OEM specifications

- Install and trouble shoot mixers, pumps, gas systems, and mechanical equipment

- Trouble shoot any digester issue and provide solutions in real time

- Coordinate with General Contractors, Site Managers, Engineers, and OEMs

- Operate across multiple active job sites

- Be able to identify critical task situations and fill out proper paperwork to go with it


What We’re Looking For

- 8–12+ years in biogas / anaerobic digesters and/or construction experience

- Certified Project manager is a plus but not required

- Strong mechanical background

- Experience with multiple digester types

- Experience with mixers, cables, and drive systems

- Roof installations (membrane / gas-tight)

- Ability to build and follow specifications

- Field experience in cleanouts, repairs, and new construction


Safety & Field Awareness

- Confined Space Certified

- Fit Tested / Respiratory

- Understanding of H2S and biogas hazards

- Awareness of weather limitations and jobsite conditions

- Safety-first mindset


Leadership & Communication

- Strong communicator with field presence

- Be able to Translate Spanish is a plus but not necessary

- Ability to report clearly to leadership

- Coordinate with on-site teams and drive progress/ results

- Self-sufficient and solutions-oriented

- Ability to lead and develop crews and take ownership of projects
